IMPORTANT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS – SERIES CONNECTION ONLY
WARNING: INCORRECT CONNECTIONS CAN PERMANENTLY DAMAGE THE LED MARKER LIGHTS!
The ALL LED AMKR032WH/40 Midi LED Marker Light is a 350mA CONSTANT CURRENT fitting. It must be connected to a correctly specified constant current LED driver.
MULTIPLE LED FITTINGS MUST BE CONNECTED IN SERIES – NEVER IN PARALLEL.
- Connect the positive (+) output of the LED driver to the positive (+) connection of the first LED fitting.
- Connect the negative (-) connection of the first fitting to the positive (+) connection of the next fitting.
- Continue connecting additional LED fittings in series using the same arrangement.
- Connect the negative (-) connection of the final LED fitting back to the negative (-) output of the driver.
- Never connect the LED fittings directly to a 230V mains supply.
- Never connect or disconnect LED fittings while the driver is energised.
- Complete and check all connections before switching on the power supply.
- Observe the correct polarity and ensure every connection is secure.
- Check that the driver’s output voltage and load range support the complete series-connected circuit.
- For adjustable constant current drivers, ensure the output is correctly configured to 350mA before energising the circuit.
