Return & Refund Policy
At Electrical4Less, we aim to provide a fair, transparent, and straightforward returns policy for all our customers.
Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Goods
We warrant that all goods supplied will:
- Match their description
- Be free from material defects in design, workmanship, and materials
- Be of satisfactory quality and fit for their intended purpose under the Sale of Goods Act 1979
If any goods you receive are faulty, incorrect, or damaged on arrival:
- Notify us immediately at returns@electrical4less.co.uk
- Include clear photographs of the issue and packaging (helps us with courier claims)
- Goods may need to be returned for inspection before a resolution is issued
- At our discretion, we may repair, replace, or refund the affected goods
⚠️ Important: All orders must be checked within 24 hours of delivery. Any issues must be reported within this timeframe. If items are delivered directly from our manufacturers/suppliers and you do not notify us within 24 hours, we may be unable to raise a claim or recover costs from them—meaning we cannot guarantee a replacement or refund.
We are not liable for issues resulting from:
- Continued use after the fault is reported
- Misuse, incorrect installation, negligence, or lack of maintenance
- Normal wear and tear
- Alterations or unauthorised repairs
- Failure to follow product instructions or industry best practices
Change of Mind – 30-Day Return Policy
You may return goods within 30 calendar days of receiving your order if:
- Items are unopened, unused, and in resalable condition
- Goods are returned in their original packaging with all documentation
- You cover the return shipping cost
If your order qualified for free delivery, we may deduct the actual outbound shipping cost from your refund.
Non-returnable items:
- Cut-to-length products (e.g., cable, LED strips)
- Bespoke or special-order goods
- Installed or visibly used items
- Goods not in original packaging or missing accessories/manuals
- Items damaged due to poor return packaging
- Goods with writing or labels applied directly to product packaging

- We will send you a returns form and instructions

Please ensure items are securely packed. We cannot accept liability for goods damaged in transit due to insufficient packaging.
⚠️ Important – Customer Responsibility for Safe Return:
It is your responsibility to pack returned goods properly so they survive transit without damage. Electrical products are often fragile or heavy and need strong packaging and internal protection.
You must also make sure the courier service you choose provides insurance that covers the full value of the goods you are sending back.
If goods arrive to us damaged — even if the damage happened with the courier — we cannot accept or refund them.
We will, however, provide photos and documentation so you can claim compensation from your courier directly.
Refunds
- Refunds will be issued within 30 calendar days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return (whichever is earlier)
- Most refunds are processed much faster if the return process is followed correctly
- Refunds will be made to the original payment method
- Deductions may be applied if items are not returned in acceptable condition
This policy applies to all purchases unless otherwise stated. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable laws.

Delivery Information
🚚 FREE Standard Delivery – On all orders over £75 + VAT (UK Mainland only)
- Orders are dispatched using DPD Next Day Delivery – this is DPD’s standard service and comes at no extra cost.
- While most orders arrive the next working day, delivery times cannot be guaranteed. Occasional delays may occur outside our control, and refunds for delivery cannot be given in such cases.
- Orders can be cancelled before dispatch (excluding special-order items) for a full refund.
