The Tauras STORM M20S Cable Gland with EarthingNut from SWA provides a fast and practical solution for terminating SWA armoured, non-armoured, SY and CY braided cables. Part of the SWA STORM range, TSTORM20S combines IP68 ingress protection with a fast-fit, shroud-free design for professional electrical installations.
The Tauras version uses SWA’s EarthingNut system, providing a more convenient earthing connection method than the traditional separate earth tag and locknut arrangement. This helps reduce the number of individual components required during installation while maintaining a secure cable termination.

Durable STORM Cable Gland Construction
The STORM gland upper and lower bodies are manufactured from PA66 reinforced with 30% glass fibre, with a brass armour ring and NBR gasket and O-rings. This construction provides reliable cable retention while supporting the gland’s IP68 protection against dust and water ingress.
The STORM range has been tested in accordance with BS EN 62444 for cable glands used in electrical installations, including impact, anchorage, electrical, ingress protection, temperature and reaction-to-fire testing.
