The Tauras STORM M25 Cable Gland with EarthingNut from SWA provides a fast and practical solution for terminating SWA armoured, non-armoured, SY and CY braided cables. Designed as part of the SWA STORM range, TSTORM25 combines IP68 ingress protection with a fast-fit, shroud-free construction for professional cable installations.
The Tauras version incorporates SWA’s EarthingNut system, providing a more convenient earthing connection method than the traditional separate earth tag and locknut arrangement. This helps simplify installation while maintaining a secure and effective cable termination.

Durable STORM Gland Construction
The STORM gland upper and lower bodies are manufactured from PA66 reinforced with 30% glass fibre, with a brass armour ring and NBR gasket and O-rings. This construction provides a robust cable termination while supporting the gland’s IP68 environmental protection.
The STORM range has been tested in accordance with BS EN 62444 for cable glands used in electrical installations, including testing for impact resistance, anchorage, electrical performance, ingress protection, operating temperature and reaction to fire.
