SWA STORM25 IP68 Cable Gland Kit – Pack of 2
The STORM M25 Cable Gland from SWA provides a fast and secure method of terminating SWA armoured, non-armoured, SY and CY braided cables. Part of the SWA STORM range, STORM25 offers improved ingress protection and faster fitting compared with conventional armoured cable glands.
This standard STORM25 version is supplied with the traditional brass locknut and earth tag arrangement for gland fixing and earthing. Its shroud-free construction simplifies the finished termination, while the IP68 rating provides dependable protection against dust and water ingress.

Durable IP68 STORM Construction
The STORM gland upper and lower bodies are manufactured from PA66 reinforced with 30% glass fibre, with a brass armour ring and NBR gasket and O-rings. This construction provides secure cable retention while supporting the gland’s IP68 environmental sealing.
The STORM range has been tested in accordance with BS EN 62444 for cable glands used in electrical installations, including testing for impact resistance, anchorage, electrical performance, ingress protection, operating temperature and reaction to fire.
Standard STORM Earthing Arrangement
STORM25 is the standard M25 option within the SWA STORM range and uses the traditional brass locknut and earth tag arrangement. Where the alternative SWA EarthingNut system is preferred, the corresponding Tauras gland is TSTORM25.
