SWA STORM20 IP68 Cable Gland Kit – Pack of 2
The STORM M20 Cable Gland from SWA provides a fast and secure method of terminating SWA armoured, non-armoured, SY and CY braided cables. Part of the SWA STORM range, STORM20 offers improved ingress protection and faster fitting compared with conventional armoured cable glands.
The standard STORM20 version uses the traditional cable gland earthing arrangement with a brass locknut and earth tag. Its shroud-free construction simplifies the finished termination while the IP68 rating provides dependable protection against dust and water ingress.

Durable IP68 Cable Gland Construction
The STORM gland upper and lower bodies are manufactured from PA66 reinforced with 30% glass fibre, with a brass armour ring and NBR gasket and O-rings. This construction provides reliable cable retention and sealing for demanding electrical installations.
The STORM range has been tested in accordance with BS EN 62444 for cable glands used in electrical installations, including impact resistance, anchorage, electrical performance, ingress protection, operating temperature and reaction to fire.
Standard STORM Earthing Arrangement
STORM20 is the standard M20 option within the SWA STORM range and uses a conventional brass locknut and earth tag arrangement. For installations requiring SWA’s alternative EarthingNut connection system, the corresponding Tauras version is TSTORM20.
