These popular enclosures were never actually made by WAGO—they were manufactured in the UK by Connexbox, who now continue the full grey box range under their own name.

🛠 The Truth Behind the Grey WAGO Boxes

Most people don’t realize that the well-known grey WAGO boxes were not manufactured by WAGO at all. These products – including models like:

🚨 WAGO Ends Distribution – But Boxes Are Still Available

WAGO has recently confirmed they will no longer sell these grey boxes, choosing instead to focus exclusively on their new ProBox range – which is not part of the original grey series.

Earlier this year, a fire at the Connexbox warehouse disrupted production and temporarily impacted stock availability.

The good news? The situation is fully under control, and Connexbox is ramping back up.
We expect the full grey junction box range to be available again by mid-July 2025.
