Description

Type A RCBO with Curve C Tripping for Live Electrical TPN Distribution Boards

The Live Electrical 10kA RCBO 6A Curve C Type A 30mA 1P+N combines residual current and overcurrent protection in a single, compact device. Built for use in Live Electrical TPN three-phase distribution boards, it protects final circuits against overloads, short circuits, and earth leakage, including AC and pulsating DC residual faults.

This unit complies with BS EN 61009-1 and is suitable for circuits with moderate inrush currents, such as those feeding small motors, transformers, or LED drivers.

Curve C Tripping Characteristics and Application

The Curve C tripping profile allows the RCBO to tolerate inrush currents up to 5–10 times the rated current. This makes the 6A Curve C RCBO ideal for installations with equipment that may cause momentary surges during startup.

The 30mA Type A sensitivity ensures effective personal protection by detecting AC and pulsed DC leakage currents, making it suitable for mixed-load and sensitive environments.

Configuration and Mounting

This RCBO features a 1P+N configuration, providing simultaneous isolation of the phase and neutral conductors. It mounts directly onto a DIN rail and fits standard module spacing within Live Electrical TPN distribution boards.

Terminals accept up to 16mm² cable, supporting typical final circuit configurations.
