Description

Type A RCBO for Live Electrical TPN Distribution Boards

The Live Electrical 10kA RCBO 6A Curve B Type A 30mA 1P+N is a residual current circuit breaker with overcurrent protection, designed for seamless integration into Live Electrical TPN three-phase distribution boards. It offers dual protection from overcurrent and earth leakage, including AC and pulsating DC fault currents up to 6 mA.

Fully compliant with BS EN 61009-1 and the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, this RCBO is ideal for modern low-inductance circuits and mixed-load installations.

Performance Characteristics of the 6A Curve B RCBO

The unit is rated for 6 amps and uses a Curve B tripping profile, making it well-suited for domestic socket and lighting circuits. The 30mA residual current sensitivity (Type A) ensures rapid disconnection in the presence of leakage faults.

Its 10kA short-circuit breaking capacity provides enhanced protection in systems where higher fault currents may occur.

Installation in Live Electrical Boards

This RCBO features a 1P+N pole configuration, allowing simultaneous switching of phase and neutral conductors. Designed as a standard single-module device, it mounts directly onto DIN rails within Live Electrical TPN distribution boards, making installation efficient and secure.

The device accepts conductors up to 16mm² and is built for high durability under electrical and mechanical stress.
