Description

High-Rating RCBO with Curve C Tripping for Live Electrical TPN Boards

The Live Electrical 10kA RCBO 50A Curve C Type A 30mA 1P+N is a high-capacity circuit protection device offering both residual current and overcurrent protection. Designed for use in Live Electrical TPN three-phase distribution boards, it protects final circuits against overload, short circuit, and leakage faults, including pulsating DC currents.

Built to comply with BS EN 61009-1 and the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, it’s ideal for high-current, inrush-prone installations.

Curve C Tripping for Load-Intensive Circuits

The Curve C tripping profile allows this RCBO to accommodate inrush currents 5–10× its rated value. That makes it well-suited for circuits feeding large inductive or capacitive loads, including motors, commercial HVAC systems, and industrial lighting setups.

Its 30mA residual sensitivity (Type A) ensures safety in the event of AC and pulsed DC earth leakage.

DIN Mounting and Integration with TPN Systems

Configured as 1P+N, this RCBO disconnects both phase and neutral conductors simultaneously. It installs easily into Live Electrical TPN distribution boards, occupying a single module on the DIN rail.

Terminals accept cables up to 16mm², allowing direct compatibility with standard final circuit conductors.
