Description

Type A RCBO with Curve B Tripping for Live Electrical TPN Boards

The Live Electrical 10kA RCBO 50A Curve B Type A 30mA 1P+N is a high-current protective device offering both overcurrent and residual current protection in one compact unit. It is engineered for Live Electrical TPN three-phase distribution boards, delivering safe disconnection during fault conditions while complying fully with BS EN 61009-1 and the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

Ideal for final circuits with stable resistive or low-inductive loads, this RCBO offers safe, regulation-compliant protection for high-capacity applications.

Curve B Characteristics and Applications

The Curve B tripping characteristic provides fast fault response at 3–5× the rated current. This makes it suitable for resistive or low-inrush loads such as lighting, sockets, and heating systems.

With 30mA Type A residual current sensitivity, the RCBO ensures disconnection during earth leakage involving AC or pulsed DC faults, reducing the risk of shock and fire.

Mounting and Compatibility

Configured as 1P+N, this RCBO offers complete disconnection of both phase and neutral conductors. It fits directly into DIN rail enclosures and occupies a single module space within Live Electrical TPN boards.

The terminals accept cables up to 16mm², supporting robust and high-current final circuit wiring.
