Description

Type A RCBO with Curve C Tripping for Live Electrical TPN Boards

The Live Electrical 10kA RCBO 32A Curve C Type A 30mA 1P+N is a dual-function protective device that offers both residual current and overcurrent protection. It is engineered for direct installation in Live Electrical TPN three-phase distribution boards, where it protects final circuits from short circuits, overloads, and earth leakage faults—including AC and pulsating DC currents.

Compliant with BS EN 61009-1, this 32A RCBO is suitable for higher-capacity circuits, particularly those with moderate inrush characteristics.

Curve C Characteristics for High Demand Loads

The Curve C tripping profile supports startup current surges of 5–10 times the rated current, making this device ideal for equipment such as commercial air handling units, industrial lighting, and small machinery.

It also features 30mA residual sensitivity (Type A), providing effective protection against AC and pulsed DC leakage, thereby reducing the risk of electric shock or fire.

Installation and Configuration

Configured as 1P+N, the RCBO ensures simultaneous disconnection of phase and neutral conductors during fault conditions. It fits standard DIN rails and occupies a single module within Live Electrical TPN distribution boards.

Terminals accept up to 16mm² conductors, ensuring compatibility with most installation types.
