Description

RCBO with Type A and Curve C Protection for Live Electrical TPN Boards

The Live Electrical 10kA RCBO 20A Curve C Type A 30mA 1P+N provides overcurrent and residual current protection in a compact, single-module format. Built for compatibility with Live Electrical TPN three-phase distribution boards, it safeguards final circuits from overload, short circuits, and leakage currents including pulsating DC faults.

The device is fully compliant with BS EN 61009-1 and supports installations requiring higher inrush tolerance.

Curve C Characteristics for Startup Loads

The Curve C tripping profile makes this RCBO suitable for circuits where brief inrush currents are present—such as power tools, commercial lighting, pumps, and small motors. The device allows for momentary current surges up to 5–10 times its rated current.

With 30mA residual current sensitivity (Type A), it protects against AC and pulsed DC leakage faults and supports safe operation under modern load conditions.

Compact, Efficient Installation

Configured as 1P+N, this RCBO disconnects both phase and neutral conductors. It mounts directly to a DIN rail and occupies a single module within Live Electrical TPN boards. Terminal connections support cable sizes up to 16mm², ensuring easy wiring for final circuits.
