Description

Type A RCBO with Curve C Tripping for Live Electrical TPN Boards

The Live Electrical 10kA RCBO 16A Curve C Type A 30mA 1P+N is a single-module RCBO designed to provide both residual current protection and overcurrent protection in final circuits. Specifically engineered for use with Live Electrical TPN three-phase distribution boards, it offers reliable performance in circuits with moderate inrush current levels.

Fully compliant with BS EN 61009-1, this RCBO supports safe installations across residential, commercial, and light industrial applications.

Curve C Protection for Mixed-Load Circuits

With a Curve C tripping profile, this device tolerates inrush currents up to 5–10 times its rated current—ideal for circuits powering inductive or capacitive loads such as fans, motors, and lighting systems.

The 30mA residual sensitivity (Type A) ensures timely disconnection in the event of AC or pulsed DC leakage, protecting both people and equipment.

Installation Configuration and Features

This RCBO uses a 1P+N configuration, which enables simultaneous disconnection of phase and neutral conductors. It mounts on a standard DIN rail and occupies a single module space in Live Electrical TPN distribution boards.

The terminals support conductor sizes up to 16mm², ensuring compatibility with standard final circuit wiring.
