Description

Type A RCBO for Live Electrical TPN Boards

The Live Electrical 10kA RCBO 16A Curve B Type A 30mA 1P+N is a single-module device offering combined residual current and overcurrent protection. Designed for use in Live Electrical TPN three-phase distribution boards, this RCBO detects AC and pulsating DC leakage currents and ensures compliance with BS EN 61009-1 and the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

This device is ideal for final circuits in residential, commercial, and industrial installations that require both personal protection and circuit-level fault disconnection.

Protection and Tripping Characteristics

The 16A RCBO features a Curve B tripping profile, making it suitable for resistive and low-inductive loads such as lighting, socket circuits, and general power distribution. With a 10kA breaking capacity, the device ensures secure fault interruption in systems subject to higher prospective short-circuit currents.

Its Type A 30mA residual sensitivity enables effective detection of leakage faults, including those from electronic devices producing pulsating DC current.

Installation with Live Electrical TPN Distribution Boards

This RCBO uses a 1P+N pole configuration to provide simultaneous switching of phase and neutral conductors. It mounts easily to standard DIN rails and occupies a single module width, making it a compact yet powerful solution for use in Live Electrical TPN boards.

Terminals support cable sizes up to 16mm², and the robust construction is suited to high-use and high-demand applications.
