Description

Type A RCBO with Curve C Performance for Live Electrical TPN Boards

The Live Electrical 10kA RCBO 10A Curve C Type A 30mA 1P+N is a single-module device offering combined residual current and overcurrent protection. Designed specifically for use in Live Electrical TPN distribution boards, it protects final circuits from short circuits, overloads, and earth leakage faults—including those involving pulsed DC leakage currents.

Fully compliant with BS EN 61009-1, this 10A RCBO is ideal for circuits with equipment that generates moderate inrush current.

Curve C Tripping for Startup Load Applications

With a Curve C tripping characteristic, this RCBO handles inrush currents of 5–10 times its rated value, making it suitable for small motors, power tools, lighting transformers, and inductive loads.

The 30mA Type A sensitivity ensures fault detection for both AC and pulsed DC leakage, supporting electrical safety requirements in commercial and residential installations.

Design and Integration

The device is configured as 1P+N, allowing the simultaneous switching of phase and neutral conductors. It fits directly into DIN rail slots within Live Electrical TPN boards and occupies one standard module.

Terminals are rated up to 16mm², supporting typical final circuit configurations with ease.
