Earth Rod Driving Stud
Earth Rod Driving Stud QEP58TDS from Unicrimp Q-Crimp is designed for use with 5/8″ threaded earth rods as part of an electrical earthing installation. Manufactured from high tensile steel, it provides a robust accessory for driving compatible threaded earth rods into the ground.
The QEP58TDS is suitable for earth rods with a diameter of 14.2mm, equivalent to 5/8″. It forms part of the threaded earth rod system and must be connected to the rod using the QEP58TC coupler.
For 5/8″ Threaded Earth Rod Installations
The driving stud is designed for use with the 1200mm 5/8″ Threaded Earth Rod. The matching QEP58TC coupler is required between the driving stud and earth rod.
This threaded arrangement provides a practical installation system and also allows compatible earth rods to be joined together where additional rod depth is required.
High Tensile Steel Construction
The QEP58TDS is manufactured from high tensile steel, providing the strength required for use during earth rod installation. It is specifically designed for the 14.2mm diameter threaded earth rod system rather than being a universal driving accessory.
Compatible 5/8″ Earth Rod Accessories
Once the earth rod is installed, an earthing conductor can be connected using the 5/8 Earth Rod Cable Clamp QEP58CC. This G Type clamp is designed for 14.2mm earth rods and accepts conductors from 16-70mm2.
