The Timeguard TX2510C 10A Type A Bi-Directional RCBO is a single-module residual current circuit breaker with overcurrent protection, designed for installations where electrical energy may flow in both directions, including photovoltaic and battery storage systems.
Rated at 10A with a Type A residual current characteristic and 30mA sensitivity, this RCBO provides protection against AC and pulsating DC residual currents. The C curve tripping characteristic makes it suitable for circuits with higher inrush currents, such as control equipment, small motors and specialist loads in domestic and light commercial installations.
The device features a 1P+N (single pole with switched neutral) design in a single-module width, allowing high circuit density within consumer units. It mounts onto a standard 35mm DIN rail and can be removed without disturbing the busbar, simplifying installation, inspection and future maintenance.
With a 6kA short-circuit breaking capacity, the RCBO includes a test button and clear contact position indicator and complies with BS EN 61009-1. It is intended for bi-directional applications in accordance with current wiring regulations.
