Timeguard TX2410C 10A Type A RCBO C Curve
The Timeguard TX2410C 10A Type A RCBO C Curve is a single-module, uni-directional residual current circuit breaker with integrated overcurrent protection, designed for installation in Timeguard consumer units and compatible distribution boards. It provides combined protection against overload, short-circuit and earth leakage faults for individual final circuits in domestic installations.
Rated at 10A with a Type A residual current characteristic and 30mA sensitivity, this RCBO protects against AC and pulsating DC residual currents. The C curve tripping characteristic makes it suitable for circuits with moderate inrush currents, including control circuits and certain lighting applications where higher start-up currents may be present.
The device features a compact 1P+N (single pole with switched neutral) configuration within a single-module width, enabling efficient use of space within consumer units. It mounts onto a standard 35mm DIN rail and can be removed without disturbing the busbar, simplifying installation, inspection and future maintenance.
With a 6kA short-circuit breaking capacity, the TX2510 includes a test button for functional testing and a clear contact position indicator for visual status confirmation. It complies with BS EN 61009-1 and is intended for uni-directional domestic applications in line with current UK wiring regulations.
