The Marlin 5W/7W Fire-Rated IP65 LED Downlight is built for installers who need speed, flexibility and full regulatory confidence on every job. With selectable 5W or 7W output and four colour temperatures (2700K, 3000K, 4000K and 6000K), this single fitting adapts to multiple rooms and lighting schemes without changing product lines. Delivering up to 810 lumens with a 38° beam angle, it fits 70–80mm cut-outs and requires just a 40mm ceiling void.
At the heart of the design is a record-speed 2-part push-fit connector with loop-in / loop-out terminals, reducing wiring time and eliminating unnecessary junction boxes. Less time in the ceiling means faster installs and cleaner finishes.
Designed for Modern Residential Installations
Fully fire rated for 30, 60 and 90 minutes on timber joists (30 minutes on I-joists and metal web joists), the Marlin downlight is compliant with Part B, C, E and L regulations. The IP65 rating makes it suitable for bathrooms and kitchens, while insulation coverability allows safe installation in insulated ceilings.
Dimmable on both trailing and leading edge systems, this fitting provides smooth lighting control across domestic environments.
