Description

High-Capacity RCBO for Live Electrical TPN Distribution Boards

The Live Electrical 10kA RCBO 40A Curve B Type A 30mA 1P+N is a robust residual current circuit breaker with integrated overcurrent protection. Designed for use in Live Electrical TPN three-phase distribution boards, it safeguards circuits from overloads, short circuits, and residual current faults, including AC and pulsed DC leakage.

Fully compliant with BS EN 61009-1 and aligned with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, this RCBO is suitable for final circuits with higher current demands.

Electrical and Functional Properties

This device provides a rated current of 40A and uses a Curve B tripping characteristic, ideal for final circuits with resistive or low-inductive loads. It ensures 30mA Type A residual current protection, capable of detecting both AC and pulsating DC faults, improving overall electrical safety.

With a 10kA short-circuit breaking capacity, this RCBO is suitable for use in systems with high prospective fault currents.

Installation and Application

The unit features a 1P+N pole configuration for simultaneous disconnection of both phase and neutral conductors. It is DIN rail mountable, occupies a single module, and integrates seamlessly into Live Electrical TPN distribution boards.

Its terminal design supports cable sizes up to 16mm², making it practical for most final circuit wiring setups.
