The Connexbox Classic Junction Box is the original, game-changing electrical enclosure designed to make electrical connections simpler, quicker and safer. Now supplied under the current Connexbox part number CBP-3004, the Classic also includes a mounting button for convenient and secure installation.
Purpose-built for Wago 222 and 773 series connectors, the enclosure allows cables and connectors to be prepared outside the box before being secured inside. This avoids working in cramped spaces and helps make installation faster and easier.
Its compact 108mm x 34mm x 42mm design allows the Connexbox Classic Junction Box to pass through a 60mm spotlight opening, making it particularly useful for ceiling voids and other restricted installation locations.
The Classic can accommodate up to six cables. Adjustable clamps secure flexible cable and twin and earth cable from 1.0mm² to 6.0mm², while robust cable grippers can accommodate flexible cables up to 8mm in diameter.
Wago 222 and 773 connectors can also be mixed within the enclosure, allowing configurations with up to 24 terminations.
Now Includes Mounting Button
The Connexbox CBP-3004 Classic is now supplied with its associated mounting button included. This provides a convenient method of securely mounting the enclosure without needing to source the mounting button separately.

From Wagobox Classic to Connexbox Classic
The enclosure now known as the Connexbox Classic has a long-established history within the UK electrical trade. Connexbox is the original designer and manufacturer of the grey electrical enclosures previously sold under the Wagobox name.
After many years of designing and manufacturing the range, the company brought its established grey enclosures directly under the Connexbox brand. The change of name did not mean the familiar enclosure was discontinued – the proven products continued under the Connexbox name with the same team behind them.
For electricians and customers familiar with the older product, the Connexbox Classic was previously known as the Wagobox Classic and carried part number WBX-001-G.
New Connexbox CBP-3004 Part Number
As part of Connexbox’s 2026 packaging and part-number update, the Classic has moved from the previous WBX-001-G reference to the current CBP-3004 part number.
The change relates to Connexbox packaging and product identification rather than a redesign of the Classic enclosure. The established specifications, certifications and quality of the product remain unchanged.
