If you want a smooth line of light rather than individual LED dots, this ALL LED Seamless COB strip is worth considering. The 2700K warm white version gives a warm, comfortable white light. It works especially well for a natural choice for domestic ambient lighting and softer kitchen details. The LEDs sit close together so the output appears continuous along the strip.
How does it work?
The strip runs from a suitable 24V DC constant-voltage LED driver. It uses just 5W per metre and can be cut at its marked 50mm intervals, which helps when working around shelves, cabinets or a lighting channel. It can be dimmed when paired with an appropriately selected dimmable driver or compatible dimming arrangement.
What do I need to complete the installation?
- 24V constant-voltage LED driver sized for the total length and with a suitable power allowance
- Compatible cable and connectors, or professionally made connections
- An appropriate aluminium LED profile and diffuser where a protected, neat finish is wanted
- An appropriate dimming solution if brightness control is required

Practical installation advice
Fix to a smooth, dry, clean surface free of oil and dust, avoiding sharp bends. Cut only at the indicated points. Remove the adhesive liner and press evenly along the length. Plan cable runs and power injection where necessary; the manufacturer lists up to 10m single-ended and 20m double-ended powering arrangements, subject to correct design and driver sizing.
