The WCED WSPV1000 1000V DC Photovoltaic SPD is designed to protect high-voltage DC photovoltaic systems against lightning surge voltages. Installed on the DC side of PV installations, it helps prevent damage to solar panels, inverters, and associated equipment caused by transient overvoltage events.
This Type 2 photovoltaic surge protection device is suitable for larger and higher-voltage solar arrays. It utilises high-performance varistors to provide protection in both common mode and differential mode, while the plug-in module design with visual status indication allows quick and easy maintenance checks.
