The Timeguard SLW2301 PIR Photocell Sensor is a powerful and versatile motion detection solution designed for new and existing lighting installations. Combining PIR motion sensing with integrated photocell daylight control, it ensures lights operate only when movement is detected and ambient light levels are low.
Finished in white, this sensor is ideal for applications where a lighter or more discreet appearance is required, while still delivering reliable performance for outdoor and indoor lighting control.
Wide Detection Coverage and Adjustable Control
The SLW2301 offers a 180° detection angle with a detection range of up to 12 metres at a mounting height of 2.5m, providing effective coverage across wide areas. Adjustable time delay and light level (LUX) settings allow the sensor to be tailored precisely to suit site conditions and user requirements.
A built-in pan and tilt mechanism enables accurate positioning of the detection zone during installation, while manual override and adjustable sensitivity settings provide additional flexibility.
Durable Design for Outdoor Installations
With an IP65 weatherproof rating, the Timeguard SLW2301 is protected against dust and low-pressure water jets, making it suitable for exposed outdoor locations. Push-fit terminals allow quick and straightforward installation, and the robust housing ensures long-term reliability.
The sensor is suitable for switching up to 2kW halogen or 400W LED lighting, making it ideal for security lighting, floodlights, and automated outdoor lighting applications.
