The Live Electrical SPV240 Type 2 DC Surge Device provides reliable protection for photovoltaic DC circuits up to 1000V DC. Designed for solar PV installations, it protects the two active DC conductors (DC+ and DC−) by safely diverting transient overvoltages to protective earth (PE).
Utilising high-energy varistor technology and an ultra-fast response time, the SPV240 helps safeguard sensitive DC equipment from lightning-induced surges and switching overvoltages, supporting long-term system reliability in residential and commercial photovoltaic systems.
