The Live Electrical CB332D 3 Pole 32A D Curve 10kA MCB is a bi-directional miniature circuit breaker designed for three-phase electrical installations. Rated at 32A with a 10kA breaking capacity, it provides overload and short-circuit protection for suitable commercial and industrial applications where higher starting currents may occur.
Features and applications
Featuring a D curve tripping characteristic, the CB332D is particularly suited to selected circuits supplying equipment with substantial inrush currents, including motors, transformers and industrial machinery. Its thermal-magnetic protection allows higher instantaneous starting currents than equivalent B or C curve MCBs, provided the installation meets the required fault protection and disconnection criteria.
The three-pole design provides linked circuit protection across three phases, while the 54mm-wide housing fits onto a standard 35mm DIN rail. Operating at 230/400V AC, this MCB is intended for installation within compatible distribution equipment.
