The Live Electrical CB332B 3 Pole 32A B Curve 10kA MCB is a bi-directional miniature circuit breaker designed for three-phase AC electrical distribution. Rated at 32A with a 10kA breaking capacity, it provides overload and short-circuit protection for suitable commercial and industrial circuits requiring a B curve tripping characteristic.
Features and applications
The CB332B features a B curve thermal-magnetic operating mechanism, with instantaneous tripping typically occurring between three and five times the rated current. This characteristic makes it particularly suitable for correctly designed circuits with relatively low inrush currents, including resistive loads and selected three-phase electrical equipment.
Its three-pole configuration provides linked switching across all three phases, allowing the circuit to be disconnected together. The compact 54mm-wide housing occupies three standard DIN rail modules and installs onto a 35mm DIN rail within compatible distribution equipment.
