The Live Electrical CB320B 3 Pole 20A B Curve 10kA MCB is a bi-directional miniature circuit breaker for suitable three-phase AC electrical installations. Combining a 20A current rating with a 10kA breaking capacity, it provides overload and short-circuit protection for commercial and industrial circuits where a B curve tripping characteristic is required.
Features and applications
The CB320B features a B curve thermal-magnetic trip mechanism, with instantaneous magnetic operation typically occurring between three and five times the rated current. This characteristic is particularly suitable for circuits with relatively low starting currents, including resistive loads and selected three-phase equipment.
Its three-pole configuration provides linked switching across all three phases, offering a practical solution for appropriately designed distribution circuits. The breaker measures 54mm wide, occupies three standard DIN rail modules and mounts onto a 35mm DIN rail inside compatible electrical enclosures.
Rated for 230/400V AC operation, the CB320B features IP20 protection and conforms to BS IEC/EN 60898. Installation design should consider cable ratings, prospective fault current, protective device coordination and required disconnection times.
