The Live Electrical 2P Type 2 DC Surge Device is designed to protect photovoltaic DC circuits up to 600V DC from transient overvoltages caused by lightning activity and switching events. Suitable for solar PV applications, it protects the two active DC conductors (DC+ and DC−) by safely diverting surge energy to protective earth (PE).
Engineered with high-energy varistor technology and an ultra-fast response time, this DC surge protection device supports long-term system reliability and protects sensitive DC equipment in residential and commercial photovoltaic installations.
