Hafele 833.89.128 Modular LED Door Sensor Switch
The Hafele 833.89.128 Modular LED Door Sensor Switch provides automatic control of compatible Häfele Loox LED lights where a switch is not built into or supplied with the light. It switches the connected lighting on when the door opens and off when the door closes, with an adjustable sensor range of 0–80mm. Manufactured from silver coloured plastic, the compact IP20 switch measures 13.5mm in diameter and 46mm long, and can be installed in a drilled hole or plugged into a suitable housing.
This modular door sensor provides convenient, hands-free lighting control for cupboards, cabinets, wardrobes and other hinged-door furniture applications. Its low power consumption of less than 0.3W helps maintain efficient operation within a compatible Loox lighting system.
The sensor is intended for use with conventional hinged doors and is not suitable for sliding doors. A compatible lead with a snap-in connector is required to connect the switch to the lighting system and must be ordered separately.

Installation Information
- Install in a suitable drilled hole or compatible modular switch housing
- Position the sensor to detect the opening and closing of a hinged door
