FuseBox EV40RAZ EV Charger Distribution Board
The FuseBox EV40RAZ EV Charger Distribution Board provides a dedicated protection solution for electric vehicle charging circuits. Supplied with a 63A 30mA Type A RCD incomer, 40A MCB and direct-to-busbar Type 2 surge protection, it combines residual current, overcurrent and surge protection within one metal enclosure.
Designed for straightforward surface installation, the FuseBox EV40RAZ EV Charger Distribution Board includes a removable DIN rail, round cable-entry knock-outs and captive front-cover screws for convenient installation and maintenance.
63A Type A RCD with 40A MCB
The incoming 63A 30mA Type A RCD provides residual current protection, while the 40A MCB protects the dedicated EV charging circuit against overload and short-circuit conditions.
This makes the EV40RAZ particularly suited to EV charging installations requiring a 40A protective device, subject to the requirements of the charger manufacturer and installation design.
Integrated Type 2 Surge Protection
A direct-to-busbar Type 2 SPD is incorporated within the board to provide protection against transient overvoltages.
Integrating the surge protection device within the EV distribution board creates a compact installation and reduces the need for separate surge-protection enclosures.
