DTech CAT6 Solid Copper U/UTP 500MHz Cable 305m Blue is designed for structured data networks, PoE equipment, ELV control and compatible AV distribution systems. The cable uses eight 23AWG solid bare copper conductors arranged as four twisted pairs and is supplied in a 305m pull box for efficient installation.
This DTech AV-Ready CAT6 Cable offers performance up to 500MHz and forms part of the manufacturer’s N-Link structured cabling range. Its blue Low Smoke Zero Halogen jacket provides an easily identifiable cable route while retaining the performance required for modern residential, commercial and AV-ready network installations.

500MHz AV-Ready Performance
The DTech AV-Ready CAT6 Cable has been developed for building networks where the structured cabling infrastructure may be required to carry more than conventional Ethernet data.
DTech specifies support for 10GBASE-T, PoE and ELV control applications. When paired with suitable hardware and communication equipment, the cable can also support HD, UHD and 4K video distribution together with compatible audio distribution.
Blue Cable for Structured Network Identification
The blue outer jacket provides a useful visual reference within larger cabling installations. Different jacket colours can be used to separate network types, services or areas, helping installers identify individual cable routes during termination, testing and future maintenance.

Solid Copper 8 Core Construction
Inside the cable are eight solid bare copper conductors configured as four colour-coded twisted pairs. Each conductor is 23AWG and uses PE core insulation.
The U/UTP construction is unscreened, without an overall foil or braided shield, providing a conventional CAT6 cable format for installations where screened data cabling is not specified.
Low Smoke Zero Halogen Jacket
A Low Smoke Zero Halogen outer jacket surrounds the cable and the manufacturer specifies a CPR classification of Dca-s1,d1,a1.
The finished cable has an outside diameter of approximately 6.2mm, with an installation temperature range of 0°C to 60°C and a minimum bending radius of six times the cable diameter.
