32A PV AC Consumer Unit
The Live Electrical LSMC1032-R32 32A PV AC Consumer Unit is a fully assembled metal board developed for photovoltaic AC installations. It brings together protection, isolation, switching, surge protection and energy measurement in a single compact enclosure.
At the heart of the board is a 32A AMR132B-030 Type A bidirectional RCBO, accompanied by a 100A DP main switch, SP140 Type 2 SPD, MLCD61 single-phase energy meter and IS332DBR 32A AC isolation switch.
32A AMR Type A RCBO
The LSMC1032-R32 uses the Live Electrical AMR132B-030 RCBO, rated at 32A with a 30mA residual current rating.
It provides a B curve tripping characteristic, 6kA breaking capacity and bidirectional operation. The 1P+N arrangement includes a switched neutral and is manufactured to BS EN 61009-1.
100A Main Switching
The board incorporates the Live Electrical MS2100D 100A double-pole main switch. Rated for 230V operation, it provides a substantial main switching point within the PV AC consumer unit.
The MS2100D accepts cables up to 50mm² and has a specified terminal tightening torque of 2.5Nm.
Type 2 AC Surge Protection
Surge protection is provided by the Live Electrical SP140 1P+N/1 Type 2 SPD.
The device is rated at 20kA nominal discharge current and 40kA maximum discharge current, with a short-circuit current rating of 25kA, maximum continuous operating voltage of 275V AC and voltage protection level of 1.5kV.
Integrated Energy Measurement
The Live Electrical MLCD61 single-phase meter is incorporated directly into the board to provide local kWh measurement of the PV AC circuit.
Operating at 230V AC and 50/60Hz, the meter has a 5A base current, maximum current of 45A and a 6+1 digit display capable of displaying up to 999999.9kWh.
32A Local AC Isolation
A Live Electrical IS332DBR AC isolation switch provides a dedicated 32A local isolation point within the enclosure.
The device is rated for AC-21, AC-22 and AC-23 utilisation categories and has a mechanical endurance of 100,000 operations. Terminal capacity is 10mm² with a specified tightening torque of 1.5Nm.
Steel IP40 Enclosure
The fully enclosed steel body has a drop-down metal lid and an IP40 protection rating. The enclosure is finished in white RAL9010 polyester powder coating for a clean professional appearance.
Installation is assisted by a raised DIN rail and a flexible internal arrangement. Multiple circular knockouts are provided for cable entry, including 25mm and 32mm top and bottom entries and 32mm side and rear knockouts.
