Live Electrical CB332C 3 Pole 32A C Curve 10kA MCB
The Live Electrical CB332C 3 Pole 32A C Curve 10kA MCB is a bi-directional miniature circuit breaker designed for suitable three-phase AC distribution systems. Featuring a 32A current rating, C curve tripping characteristic and 10kA breaking capacity, it provides overload and short-circuit protection for commercial and industrial electrical installations.
Features and applications
The CB332C uses a C curve thermal-magnetic tripping characteristic, offering greater tolerance of temporary starting currents than an equivalent B curve MCB. With instantaneous magnetic tripping typically occurring between five and ten times the rated current, it is suitable for appropriately designed circuits supplying inductive equipment, selected three-phase motors and other loads with moderate inrush demands.
This three-pole breaker provides linked switching across all three phases, allowing simultaneous circuit disconnection. Its 54mm-wide housing occupies three standard DIN rail modules and mounts onto a 35mm DIN rail within compatible electrical distribution equipment.
Rated for 230/400V AC operation, the CB332C features IP20 protection and meets BS IEC/EN 60898 requirements. Installation design must account for cable current-carrying capacity, prospective fault current, earth fault loop impedance and required disconnection times.
