The Live Electrical CB320C 3 Pole 20A C Curve 10kA MCB is a bi-directional miniature circuit breaker designed for three-phase AC distribution systems. Featuring a 20A current rating and 10kA breaking capacity, it provides overload and short-circuit protection for suitable commercial and industrial electrical circuits.
Features and applications
The CB320C incorporates a C curve thermal-magnetic tripping characteristic, allowing it to accommodate moderate starting currents without unnecessary tripping. Its instantaneous magnetic trip range is typically five to ten times the rated current, making it suitable for appropriately designed circuits supplying small three-phase motors, inductive equipment and other loads with moderate inrush demands.
With three linked poles, the breaker provides simultaneous disconnection across all three phases. Its 54mm-wide housing occupies three standard DIN rail modules and fits onto a 35mm DIN rail within compatible electrical distribution equipment.
Designed for 230/400V AC operation, the CB320C offers IP20 protection and meets BS IEC/EN 60898 requirements. Before installation, the circuit’s cable capacity, prospective fault current, earth fault loop impedance and required disconnection times must be considered.
