The Aico Ei1516 Masking Plate is specifically designed to cover any marks left by rectangular-shaped alarms when upgrading to round-shaped alarms from the 3000, 2110e, 160e, or 140RC Series. It also works with Ei168RC RadioLINK bases and Ei128R/Ei128RBU relay modules. The included adhesive strips ensure the plate remains aligned during installation.
Operation of the Ei1516 Masking Plate
The masking plate attaches to the base of the alarm or unit. Once attached, both the plate and base can be screwed to the ceiling, effectively covering any marks left by the previous alarm.
