The Wago 224-112 Lighting Connector provides an efficient way to terminate solid aluminum conductors. By using Wago “Alu-Plus” Contact Paste, the connector eliminates the oxide film on aluminum conductors during clamping, preventing oxidation and corrosion. It is also suitable for mixed metal installations, as it protects against electrolytic corrosion between aluminum and copper conductors in the same terminal block.
