The Switchtec SMC-4020-240 40A Contactor is a robust modular switching device designed for controlling lighting, resistive and auxiliary loads in domestic, commercial and light-industrial installations. Driven by a 240V AC coil, it provides stable and reliable performance under demanding load conditions. The contactor incorporates 2 normally open (2NO) contacts and IP20 touch-safe terminals, and is designed for fast installation onto standard 35mm DIN rail inside consumer units, distribution boards or automation panels. Supplied as a standalone device, it is intended for integration into an appropriate enclosure or control system.
