The Niglon 12013 MC040DN Compact Cut-Out is a double pole service cut-out specifically designed for street lighting and external lighting installations where enclosure space is extremely limited. Suitable for use on 230V single phase supplies, it supports fuse protection up to 25A and accommodates stranded copper conductors up to 16mm² or solid aluminium conductors up to 25mm². Manufactured with electroplated brass terminals featuring serrated bores, the unit ensures secure conductor retention and low-resistance connections. A factory-fitted brass gland plate with integrated earth stud provides safe earthing and reliable cable entry, while IP42 ingress protection (with cover fitted) makes it suitable for use within lighting columns and compact street furniture.
